Ma Utd concern over Mather contract situation

Manchester United youngster Sam Mather's contract situation is troubling the club.

Mather is highly rated within the United setup, but runs out of his present contract in 2025.

Per the Manchester Evening News, United will have to quickly decide on his future.

Mather will want some assurances that he has a path to regular first team football.

After signing for Rochdale on a flexi-loan in January, Mather made 10 appearances and scored two goals.

He was a key part of the successful 2021/22 FA Youth Cup campaign with United's youth team.
