DONE DEAL: Nashville SC sign Nottingham Forest striker Sam Surridge

Nottingham Forest have announced the sale of Sam Surridge to MLS club Nashville SC.

Forest will rake in around 4m for Surridge.

Surridge, 24, arrived on Trentside from Stoke City in January 2022, becoming an important player for Steve Cooper's side as Forest won promotion to the Premier League.

The striker featured 27 times in all competitions last season, scoring his first Premier League goal in Forest's 1-1 draw at AFC Bournemouth.

Surridge made 50 appearances for Forest, scoring 11 goals.
